چکیده

There are wide-ranging views among track and field experts regarding the optimal strategy to use in the triple jump. The controversy pertains to the effort which should be expended in each of the hop, step, and jump phases. In this paper, we develop a dynamic programming approach for finding the optimal strategy. The results of our model support a recent shift in opinion in favour of a jump-dominated technique. However, the improvement is marginal, and hence, the best strategy may in the end be athlete specific.

Triple jump technical motions diagnostic research based on hanavan model bar figure analytical approach

For sports events technical research, it is indispensible to extract apparatus and human each segments status data during movement process. While sports all happened in 3D space, though it can be regarded as planar movement by some hypothesis and ignoring partial errors, plane analysis will not adapt in some complicated sports trajectory project analyzing. This paper selects triple jump technic...

Assessment of External and Internal Loads in the Triple Jump via Inverse Dynamics Simulation

THE TRIPLE JUMP IS A DEMANDING ATHLETICS EVENT THAT, AFTER AN APPROACH RUN, CONSISTS OF THREE CONSECUTIVE PHASES: the hop, the bound, and the jump. During the involved three take-off actions a jumper is exposed to increased risk of injury due to the high impact forces from the ground and powerful muscle/tendon efforts, which are further reflected in the internal loads of the lower limb joints. ...

Functional Movement Screening Tests for the Prediction of Injuries in Volleyball: A Qualitative Study

Background. There is little evidence to support the comprehensiveness of FMS in sports populations to predict injuries. Ignoring rapid decelerations and high eccentric forces which may be characteristics of high risk for injury are evident in these tests. With this in mind, it seems logical to use tests to assess the performance of athletes so as to evaluate speed components as well as to ident...

New Approach to Exponential Stability Analysis and Stabilization for Delayed T-S Fuzzy Markovian Jump Systems

This paper is concerned with delay-dependent exponential stability analysis and stabilization for continuous-time T-S fuzzy Markovian jump systems with mode-dependent time-varying delay. By constructing a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and utilizing some advanced techniques, less conservative conditions are presented to guarantee the closed-loop system is mean-square exponentially stable....

An integrated simulation-DEA approach to multi-criteria ranking of scenarios for execution of operations in a construction project

The purpose of this study is to examine different scenarios for implementing operations in the pre-construction phase of a project, based on several competing criteria with different importance levels in order to achieve a more efficient execution plan. This paper presents a new framework that integrates discrete event simulation (DES) and data envelopment analysis (DEA) to rank different scena...
